Susana Castro

I am Susana, I was born and raised in the small and beloved town of Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua. At the age of 23, I decided to embark on a new chapter in my life and moved to the United States. Although I had the support of my family who was already here, and prior knowledge of the English language I had acquired in Mexico, facing the cultural shock and adapting to a new environment was a complex and challenging task.

However, thanks to the support of generous people who accompanied me along the way, today, more than two decades later, I can proudly say that I have managed to integrate my Mexican roots with Anglo-Saxon customs. This blend of cultures has deeply enriched my life perspective and strengthened my identity.
